Our approach to developing Para-fencing in Rwanda is built on three interconnected pillars.
Sport Development
Establishing structured training programs in Kigali with nationwide expansion, developing certified coaches and referees, and organizing annual national competitions. Focusing on the technical growth and baseline proficiency for new fencers.
Inclusion & Social Impact
Collaborating with rehabilitation centers and hospitals, raising public awareness to reduce stigma, and using sport as a tool for confidence-building and social integration for athletes across the nation.
High Performance
Preparing athletes for African, World, and Paralympic qualification events, and providing access to adapted facilities and proper, world-class fencing equipment for elite-level competition.
